This is my hand-in for my first assignment. Sotware used: Adobe Premiere 3.0 Adobe SoundBooth 3.0 Total RecorderVerdict:Intriguing full orchestra tune up over sixties electro acoustic abstraction. This is really well observed. Tight integration of events to spot effects without allowing this obvious mapping to drive the mix, good range of textures with carefully placed elements defining the soundstage. A dramatic treatment that could be seen as too rich for the grainy black and white source material but ties it together very effectively by the cunning intergartion of spot effects and orchestral elements to avoid the obvious gaff of mapping a 90’s or 00’s sound over a 50’s aesthetic. A detailed and well balanced approach.
